Join the Literacy Program of the Volunteer Center at the 2nd Annual Kitchen Tour on August 16th from 12-4:30PM. Driving at your leisure between Santa Cruz, Capitola, and Soquel, you'll stop at six gastronomic sanctuaries. At each kitchen you will have the opportunity to peruse top of the line appliances, cabinets, and architecture.Tour booklets are $15 for one or $25 for two, and include home photos, descriptions, and directions to each kitchen. Booklets are available now at area stores including Bookshop Santa Cruz, Bookworks Aptos, Capitola Book Cafe, Easy Care Cabinets on Mission, SC Greenspace and Santa Cruz Kitchen and Bath.
Proceeds benefit the Literacy Program of the Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County, a free program matching volunteer tutors with adults who want to learn to read, write and speak English.
